San Antonio Virtual Nature Center – a one-stop shopping center for local environmental/conservation news and reference information.

Mitchell Lake Audubon Center – management/education center for the Mitchell Lake Wildlife Refuge on the south side of San Antonio, operated by Audubon Texas under a contract between National Audubon Society and the San Antonio Water System.

National Audubon Society – parent organization of Bexar Audubon Society and one of the nation’s largest and most prestigious conservation organizations.

San Antonio Audubon Society – a local birding club independent of National Audubon Society. While BAS focuses on a wide array of conservation issues, SAAS focuses on birding and birding-related conservation issues. Many people are members of both groups, and they often work together on local conservation issues.

Mitchell Lake Wetlands Society – a membership organization and coalition that supports the Mitchell Lake Wildlife Refuge and Mitchell Lake Audubon Center. BAS was a founding member of the MLWS, and many BAS members are individual members of MLWS.
